[Section 15] The Canadian Human Rights Museum has become the dream of many people. The mission – to advance the understanding and support for Human Rights in Canada and around the world – is shared by most Canadians. Many participated in consultations to offer their ideas and priorities for the exhibits. Over 2,300 Canadians have donated about $93 million to make that dream come true.
In April 2007, on behalf of all of us, Prime Minister Stephen Harper agreed to cover the $22 million annual costs and have the federal government operate the museum. It has also contributed $100 million in capital costs, the province of Manitoba $40 million, the city of Winnipeg $20 million.

It takes 200 days to get an MIR in my province, and this is what the Federal Government wastes our taxdollars on. How contemptable, considering Christians and Catholics have no “Human Rights” in this country.
As far as I’m concerned this is just another red herring to pretend we’re a tolerant country. Ask the natives living in object poverty how Humane Canada’s Government is? Asd those placed in Camps because they were from Japan. Ask the females who suffered decades of domestic abuse in silence because our Federal Government considered it a “Family issue” Ask the Jews turned away from Quebec during the war how Humane this country is or was.
It’s farcical and insulting, we do not deserve to have a museum honouring our abysmal record of Human Rights, currently the various HRCs across Canada are abusing and persecuting those that don’t fall into lockstep with their marxist ideology.
Has the current Harper government any idea how out of sinc he’s with real PEOPLE?
