Apology Shmology, Where’s The $5 Billion?

[Montreal Gazette, Letter to the Editor] It’s easier to apologize for the injustices of previous governments than to acknowledge one’s own wrongdoing. Thanks to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the Kelowna Accord, a $5-billion agreement negotiated by Paul Martin’s government, provincial premiers and aboriginal leaders to close the prosperity gap between aboriginal and non-aboriginal Canadians, went the way of the Mideast Oslo Accords.
